At the Masonic Care Community, our certified skilled nursing facility utilizes the "Household Model of Care" within our neighborhood levels. We strive to create a real community within these 23 households that our residents recognize as home. Personal choice, the natural rhythms of the day, and meaningful life all make up the "Household Model of Care" philosophy to ensure that our residents live in a state of well-being.
The physical environment is warm, accessible, and residential in nature. Our households are limited to 8 to 16 residents. This gives our residents and staff alike a sense of ownership and is key to feeling a sense of control. Residents are given direct access to the kitchen, as well as comfortable shared spaces for socializing, nurturing both choice, connection, and a sense of home.
