Executive Vice President of Operations

Tamara Fontaine serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations for the Masonic Care Community of New York, providing executive leadership and strategic oversight for healthcare, residential, and clinical operations across the organization's continuum of care. As the senior operational leader, she is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional resident experiences throughout the campus.

Tamara oversees the following service lines:

• Masonic Care Community – Skilled Nursing Facility
• Masonic Home – Adult Home
• The Neighborhoods at Acacia Village – Independent Living Community
• Acacia Certified and Licensed Home Care Company
• Child Care Center at Masonic Care Community

A Registered Nurse and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Tamara brings more than two decades of experience in long-term care and healthcare operations. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from SUNY Institute of Technology (now SUNY Polytechnic Institute).

Throughout her career, Tamara has been actively engaged in advancing the long-term care profession through leadership and service. She has served as a Board Member for the New York State Association of Long Term Care Administrators and as a Nursing Facility Cabinet Member for LeadingAge New York. She is also a member of the Community Health Foundation Fellows Action Network and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Alumni Network.

Having dedicated more than 20 years to the Masonic Care Community, Tamara is passionate about fostering a culture of compassion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. She is committed to supporting residents, families, and staff while advancing the organization's mission of providing exceptional care, enriching lives, and promoting dignity, independence, and well-being for those it serves.
