Triple “E” Winner

Congratulations to Susan Niznik MCC’s third-quarter Triple E recipient!

Sue is incredibly dedicated to MCC and started working as a member of the food service team in 1978. After going to work as a medical transcriptionist at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, she rejoined the MCC team in 2013 as a generalist in the Human Resource department. After retiring in 2019, Sue returned to MCC in 2020 to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sue currently supports the nursing department as an administrative assistant. Sue is known for her compassion and empathy.

“Working for the Masonic Care Community is like working with family. My parents are older and the age of the residents that live here, so in many ways, I relate to them.”

During the height of the pandemic, Sue, unfortunately, lost her father to COVID-19. Her parents were married for over 60 years. Sue shared that she received an outpouring of love and support from the MCC family and following the personal loss she experienced, it further strengthened her ties to the staff and residents at MCC.

Sue is an amazing role model and is known for her patience and understanding. She is always willing to assist anyone in need. Sue helps support MCC’s resident council and states that this is one of her most rewarding roles at MCC. She relates to and understands the residents’ concerns and feels her best when she can lend a listening ear.

As part of the nursing department, Sue sees how hard the MCC staff works and how dedicated they are, “The people who work here give 110%.” Sue, we thank you for all that you do for the
Masonic Care Community and our residents and congratulate you again on your special employee award!
